i was wondering how to lower the front end of my truck, im new to low riders and wasnt sure where to ask. I have heard of adjusting the torsion bar, but i wasnt sure and wanted a second opinion..... and suggestions help. thanx

It depends on your truck. Chevy? GMC? Ford? If it's an older truck (Early 90's or so) The most common way is spindles. New trucks mosty use coil springs. Tell me how much you're considering lowering front/rear and what kinda of truck it is and I'll post back man.

hey man..... i thought my nick might give away the type of truck i own but thats ok :P I have a 86' Mazda B2000 reg cab/long box. Seomeone told me you can adjust the stock torsion bar to lower the front end.

Ha ha ha. Oh I never even looked at the name. But yes, it is possible to adjust the torsion bar in MOST cases to lower the truck. However, it may not ride and handle as well as you'd like.

alright, thanx man.... ill give that a shot to see how it looks then take it for a nice ride, and if i dont like how it rides ill replace a proper lowering torsion bar, thanks for your help! later
