I went with the nitrogen after exploring the options of co2, high pressure air,and the nitrogen. The co2 was to cold to run,you would have a problem with the regulator freezing and the the high pressure air isn't as readily available as the nitrogen. The nitrogen I hooked up is a 154 cf bottle which I purchased for $140.00 it holds approx 2200 psi with a free first time fill,I also had to buy a regulator which cost $80 the pressure I'm running is 140 psi and I have raised and lowered the truck several times with bottle losing about 200 psi.The cost to refill the bottle is also minimal at $15-20.If you want to do this get the bottle and the regulator and get a air brake fitting {compression style)to the size of line your running and replace the outlet on the regulator with your new fitting to mount your line and you should be gold.I highly recommend this application.(screw those compressors their a ripoff and they suck}.
