Whats up everyone...I have a question and would like any and all opinions on it. I have a 93 Chevy Pickup, standard cab, 1500 series. I dont want to slam it, but I would like to lower it a bit just to improve the handling. I was thinking 2 inches in the front and 3 or 4 in the back..is this too much, not enough? please give me your opinion...presh (preciate) it

I have a 2000 Silverado with a belltech 2/4. It's coil springs up front and shackles and hangers in the rear. Personally, I prefer layin' frame. (That's why I have a juiced caddy as well) But, it's a noticable drop. Just personal preference. As far as handling, it has improved greatly! Even without wheels/tires it handles like a car. If you plan on hitting some rough roads and pot holes though, then you just want to be careful. Without your frame stepnotched, your axel bottoms out pretty easily. If you get a 4/6 drop (With on your truck is most likely spindles, coil springs, and a flip kit) you will notch your frame with a reinforcement. Just what ya want.
