I'm new to this stuff, and i have some kinda dumb questions. What does it mean to give your truck a body drop? How do you make a truck go the lowest it can go? Is there a lot of body work to be done if you want a truck "skrapin'" the ground? how much would it cost to get a truck dropped bagged, and have the body modified (if neccesary) to make it the lowest it can go? thanx for the input

A body drop in a nutshell is basically cutting around the floorboard of the cab and dropping the body down over the frame. (Same with the bed) That way, when you drop the truck the rocker panels are laying on the ground instead of just the frame. You can make trucks as low as you want. Just takes some work. But if you're looking for bags and a bodydrop then you're gonna be lookin' at about 5-6 grand if not more. There's just a number of factors included to make that change.
