I have 2 12in JL W3 with a 1000 watt boss amp with a boss 3 way crossover, plenty of mids and highs, but what can i do for more bass...Im thinking about a higher end single 15in...is this a good idea?

it all depends on what kind of car you have. You dont want it to rattle and if you put in the 15' you will definetly need some accessories to stop the rattling. I know someone who has a 15' in his daytona and that **** rattles like a bitch

I have a 95 explorer 4x4 and ive stopped the rattling with friends 15s in my truck but his are rockfords and I was thinking of something that would hit better than those.

2 of the best 15' s I have ever heard were the Memphis Audio LVS series and the Concept quad coil. i have seen both subs hit high 150' s low 160' s by themselves. good luck and keep me posted on what you end up chosing. peace, Jeremy
