I own a 98 Chevy full size lowered 4-6 on 18's and am in the Los Angeles area. Now im looking into getting an air suspension set up but have no idea which system or brand to use and have no idea where to go. I am not necessarilly looking for my truck to sit on frame since its not a show truck, but am looking to be able to raise the rear end when i want to head up to the mountains and need some clearance or to level the ride a little more.

Now for a couple of months i borrowed my cousin's 99 yukon 4 door. He had an air ride system that had just front and rear controls that i really liked alot. It had about 5-8 inches of movement in the front and maybe 2-3 in back. The front end sat on the tires and was unable to even be moved when all the air was let out. and the back end just dropped a couple of inches. It wasn't like a quickj bag set up where the car would pop up and down like quick bags, but it was more of a gradual lift or lower

I really liked this system and i hoped someone on here might be able to help me out with either telling me what that system was or maybe give me advice on another system to use.

Hmmm...I think I know what you're looking for. Up front's simple. New drop spindles, but in the bags and you're done. Now the back...Alright, for starters, if you're not looking to lay frame then you're not going to need to notch your rear end. You probably have a mild notch since you've got 6" out back already. You can just run a flip kit out back (if you've already got one, then perfect) However, you're gonna regret not notching that frame because you're gonna wanna lay frame after a while. Either way, you can run brackets straight from the notch to your axel. OR, you could run a 4-link. www.ridetech.com has some of the best bolt on systems I've ever seen. But if you're wanting NICE NICE equipment, I suggest running Master Image Customs. If you're not wanting it that fast, then you can just run manual valves. OH yeah, and out back you should have about 6-7" of adjustability. maybe a little more with a 4 link. Good luck.
