alright first of all im new here and i got a question for all of you what is the best set up for a 99 dodge dakota r/t somthing reasonable in price but good

HoppinHawaiian -> RE: system (4/8/2002 7:46:00 PM)

whats reasonable price? 100? 500? 10 bucks? man if you got the green for a dakota r/t then spent a few bones and make it sing. pop in a custom bed and fill that thing with kicker solos. a few mtx amps and a nice deck and pau(hawaiian for done) a few grand now is better than a few more later.

Hoppin is right dude...you got the loot for the R/T then you've got the cheese for the system, right? Kicker Solobarics are an excellent choice, as are MTX amps....But don't forget your mids and highs though! I've always had great sound out of my Infinity Kappa tweets and mids, but everyone has a preference...My advice is to listen to everything before you sink all of your had earned cash on a system. And go around to as many shops/retailers as possible and ask plenty of questions. If space is at a minumum SAS Bazooka Basstubes may be a way to go too. I had a set myself and loved them...but if you want to rock the block then more and bigger is better. Just don't slouch on the install,, it can make or break your system...but if you can do it yourself it'll save you alot of bread. Goodluck on the R/T...peace

first of all the both the other dudes are right. second all you can order your speakers from crutchfeild & get them twice as cheap they carry mostly the best speakers you can buy but the kicker solo berics and rockford fosgate are the best
