i want to build a bagged suburban ive been looking around at different setups and ive heard you cant go to low with a 87 style burban cause the balljoints bind up. now air ride makes a complete aftermarket a-arm setup for the front of 95 style fullsize 1500 pickups can that work on the older burban . or would i be better of buying a 95 style burban. for all i know the chassis could be the same and just the body and interor changed. i dnot have a truck yet but i dont want to buy the wrong one and have a hard time putting bags on it. thanks in advance for any help

If it were me I would stay between ' 88 to ' 94. The frame on the 87 and 95 are going to be different. The years I said are the ones that the most parts are fitted for. You can find stuff for newer and older but you may pay more.

Are they selling you shockwaves? That seems a little steep if not. You may be able to find it cheaper if you shop around a little. I may be wrong but won' t you only need spindles and the bag stuff to lay up front?

BTW, shockwaves don' t have as much lift or lay out as far as normal bags. They are more for handling then anything else.
