i want to know what the best thing would be for my truck. right now i' m running a blown and squeesed 454 with 500 hp. just wondering if i should look at air or oil. which is stronger? i regularly stomp over ricerz on regular roads...i need something thats not gonna break when i lay my foot on the floor. this is my baby and the last thing i need is to rip her apart cause i want to be laying frame. also, thats another topic...i also want to lay frame on 20' s. it' s a 4x4....so is it possible or not, and is it feasible. thanx for the input.

It IS possible to lay out on a 4X4, however it IS NOT cheap! Where do you live? How are the roads? And how often do you drive it? These are some of the first things to know in order to help you.

thanx for the help mano, i' ll keep you guys posted on my truck....the roads can get a little rough, some times downright nasty, i live in canada, our tax dollars don' t always make it past a patch job on the highways, i am just worried about burstin' a bag if it gets a little too rough. also, you guys seem to know what the hell your talking about. my supercharger is making some high-pitched squealing noises, not the normal whine, more like a nails-on-chalkboard sound above 3500 rpm. any idea' s, is there something coming apart on the inside? it' s a secondhand whipple twin-screw i found in a junk-yard. the unit looked fine, but the truck i ripped it outta looked like it rolled once or twice. any ideas?

You are one lucky son of a B**** to find a screw in a bone yard! I would say you may have a serious problem with the bearings in it. If it took a roll or two it may have been thrown out of whack on the inside. Try to call Whipple and see if they can check it out for you if you send it to them, or maybe they have some sort of re-build kit for it. Just a thought.
