quick and simple, in my 98-fullsize Seirra(regu. cab), can i just swap out my 4x10' s and replace them with 6x9' s, or do i need an amp to power them? oh yeah, what are the size of my door mounted speakers, are they 5" roundies, or 6" inch? or am i wrong on both?

If the hole is cut for a 4X10 then just put that in instead of cutting and squeezing a 6x9 in there. Are you talking about the ones next to your head in the truck? Not sure on the doors mine doesn' t have door speakers. You don' t NEED an amp unless you want one.

i was askin ' bout putting the 6x9' s in because i haven' t been able to find anyone who makes a decent 4x10(or makes one at all!) i was told that because of the higher bass output of the 6x9' s i may need a small amp.
